Hi everyone:

I have a question if someone can help me. We sent our application July (the got it on the 17th) and we hope to get AOR soon, in the next couple of weeks. My husband did not do his medicals yet and I am wondering once we get the Client ID, can we go ahead and do his medicals before CIC ask? Don't they have to send any sort of forms to give it to the doctor or you can find it in Internet? I will appreciate any inside from people that has done it.

One more question: his daughter is included in his application, but as non-accompanying dependent. Does she have to do medicals too? She is in Dominican Republic. In case she has to do it, what is the best way to do that? Can she do it now to speed the process? How?

Dont waste ur money hiring a lawyer. All , allll the info is online on Cic and in this forum... Dont waste ur money. U CAN apply for work permit and pr at same time. Write a note like tozo said. I applied for both in march and we for aip in 6 months, which is the current time for aip.

The doctor will have the forms (imm 1017b). See OB 471 for the new rules effective November 1 for doctors.

Yes, she needs to have it done as well - otherwise he cannot sponsor her in the future. It would be best to have her client ID as well.

IMM 1017 SCLE has been superseded by the new forms. This is described in OB 471. He does need to bring photographs, but it varies by doctor's office, so you should ask them how many they want.

9 November CIC officially received my application & gave me a UCI number.
right now cant access the application with this UCI number it might take couple of days until it becomes functional.

Hi Sandman, how did u hear? they got my application July 17 and I havent heard anything!!
Do they send the AOR to the sponsored person or the sponsor? Should I worrry? I am starting to get paranoic!!!

Hey everyone Im currently filling up my application forms and there are some questions that I dont quite understand.......please forgive me if some of them are a little silly. Tried calling cic but as usual they're always busy So here goes:

When the application asks you for family members or dependents does it mean any children that you or your spouse would have or just any family members?

Also which immigration office should I put for processing my application.....wouldnt it be vegreville alberta?

It also ask if i received a certificat de selection du Quebec and when did i apply for it.......i already answered no in applying but do i need to does it apply to me?

For the additional dependents is that for children that me and my spouse would have or just any family member?

Also on the sponsorship evaluation form question 5 it ask for no. of persons included in the application should I just put one as we dont have any dependent children?

Final question....I am expecting so should I state that as future dependent or just say no dependent and explain that i am expecting?
