HELLO Canada-India:

I am in the same boat like you, I applied last year and CIC website is updated , they trabsferred my file to Etobicoke Local office do you have idea why? what are the reasons to transfer it?

I'm no expert to tell you why but you can always ask an MP to help you find out the reason or reasons why, that's what we did and we at least know why.

Bummed :(

Received a letter that said my application for PR has been completed and my local CIC office would be in contact with me. My e-Cas says decision made, but I can never get through to the call centre to see how long till I hear from someone. So I went down to my local CIC office at lunch and they said they haven't even received anything from Vegreville on my file yet. Going onto 3 weeks now :(

We applied Inland 2010
Vegreville Received our Application October 14, 2010
They started processing our Application November 29, 2010
They transferred our file to the Local office here in Edmonton August 8, 2011
We updated our file at the local office January 2012
We are planning another small update to our file April 1, 2012
If you would like to add this info to the chart that would be great.

You should request your FOSS notes ASAP to see what is going on... They could be doubting about your relationship and the Foss note will probably tell the reason why you got transfer without an AiP.

Does anyone know roughly how long it takes does medicals to be attached to the files? I'm really hoping this isnt going to take another 4 months of my time. :(

Question... when you get the landing interview does the letter state the address of where you are suppose to go to land ? Just curious :S.

I am in Toronto.
