This is what my e-cas said when I logged in this morning...I had recieved AIP in July...but now that it says that medical results have been received and a decision has been made that this journey is finally coming to an end???? It doesn't say that a letter has been sent though?

We received your application for permanent residence on September 14, 2010.

We started processing your application on November 3, 2010.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made and you will be contacted.

We received the requested information on November 9, 2011. Thank you for providing the information.

It also doesn't have a line saying that a letter has been sent...I tried getting through to the call centre but the lady was exceptionally rude and wouldn't even log into my file...I am going to try again this afternoon.

congratulation......leo_liu for your AIP, Welcome to the thread.stage 2 depends on each and every case and IO handling your case....well from the

thread,some get both stages approval same time,others get stage 1 first and followed by stage 2 some days ,weeks or month later....some even

have to wait for more than 5,6,7 and even 8 months to get the second stage approval....so you see you never know.

YES we have inland applications 2010 table that can be found on page 501.....LY promise to update it last weekend ..guess she was little busy and

hopefully she will do it .

welcome to the thread my friend stay tight in there...... ;D :D

Congratulation abisehiyo! I'm happy for you. :)

Actually, I asked my hubby to call the CIC. Unfortunately, he didn't call. I'll try to convince him again tomorrow.

Did you see any update on your Ecas? How about your husband's Ecas?

If you do not present your card when you return to Canada, you may be asked to show one of the following documents:

* a completed Confirmation of Permanent Residence form;
* the original Record of Landing (if it is dated 1973 or later);
* a passport stamped with the date you were granted permanent residence (if your Record of Landing is dated 1972 or earlier);
* a certified true copy of a Record of Landing document issued by CIC National Headquarters; or
* a letter issued by CIC National Headquarters attesting to your permanent resident status.

Does landing paper belong to one of them? I guess "a completed Confirmation of Permanent Residence form" is it.
Does it mean that I can travel to US BY CAR without PR card?

Hey guys,

Good to see some movement here. Congrats to all who received good news.

LY, how are you girl? You must be busy with your new job. Congrats. I don't know if you guys want to work something out where someone can take over the chart or not. Maybe someone that is still on here quite often. Tozo, what about you?

The chart has not been updated since Oct.14 which is over a month ago. There have been a lot of people that have received news since then. Anyway, I don't want to bud in here. Hopefully we will see a chart soon.

Hey angtao why dont you take over the 2010 chart? You was doing a great job with our chart (2011 applicants)!! You have my vote! :)

congrats abisehiyo. Good to hear you get AIP and OWP.

Guys i have a quesion that if someone's x-ray has problems. will the doctor inform you before sent the medical to CIC. or they just sent directly

without informing?

Borrowdale, you are landing on December 15, correct? What does your letter for landing say? If it says you have to bring your spouse, then you have to bring your spouse. That way CIC can verify that you are still in the relationship and nothing has changed since you applied for PR. The landing location should not matter. Besides, wouldn't your spouse want to share in the final step of this arduous process? For our interview (as I mentioned before when I answered this question), both of us had to be there. I was told I would have to attend and to sign something, but did not actually have to do so. But I would have been there anyways, my husband was finally becoming a PR!!!

The question has been answered already in previous posts, not trying to be rude but you keep asking the same question, like the answer will change to one that you like.

Why is it a problem to bring your spouse to the interview? You said she was visiting family or something, but that was at least a week ago and you are not landing for another month. Just sayin......

Thanks everyone! My ecas just changed today 3am AB time. AIP it is! :)
It didnt say they received additional docs which we sent with OWP last July, but call center agents said we got OWP too.

Hang in there everyone, think positive! Goodluck!
...Now waiting for 2nd stage. Hope it goes quick. :)
