THis is the current status on ecas

We received your application for permanent residence on November 18, 2010.

We started processing your application on January 5, 2011.

We transferred your application to the local CIC office on October 17, 2011. The local CIC office may contact you.

im freaking out that where is the AiP ??? or is my application gonna get rejected without an interview. plus if i want to add more stuff to my application shld i send it to VEG, ALberta or my local CiC office. by the way i ordered my FOSS notes. I think im in a serious problem.

Oh ok! I will do that as well! It is so frustrating! I phoned CIC just now, and asked if that would be ok! and ofcourse the lady said no. wait for them to ask added information she said! But I will be sending it anyway!

Thanks Cangaceiro! At least a small ray of hope.

I hope you hear something soon Twchu and themount.

It just seems like things are not only slowing down but moving backwards. My husband just got a letter from Canadian Revenue saying that we owe $56.00 (small beans I know, luckily) and that aren't eligible for OSTC because we make over $38,000. WTF? Where did they get this number? They assessed him at the low $20,000s. DEAR CRA: I DON'T WORK!!!! I am ready to rip someone's head off! Can someone please explain to me or share a similar story?

Thank you for the response! CPC-V, transferred it to Edmonton. So am i going to send more proof to Edmonton office? The letter just stated, that they would contact us... which will take 18-24 months! :(
That's what the call centre agent told me. But if I can submit more proof I will...

So yeah, should I submit it to the office where they transferred our application? This is so frustrating already!

Once transferred Vegreville has got nothing to do with your case. Its one of the officers in Edmonton office who will decide your case. So yes mail it the edmonton office.

Charmaine, gather all proof and document and dont send them yet because the local office will contact you .they will ask you the kind of proof and document you need to bring along for the interview.am sorry to hear that u have been transferred to the local office.good luck.

I beg to differ Tozo!

The officer MAY ask for additional proof but its not a must. I am talking from experience. We waited for them to ask for documents but they didnt. The officer just opened the file and based on the documents that we had submitted with the application, refused our case. In the letter we got, she mentioned that we didnt provide any updates to our application. So Charmine must submit proof without waiting for them to ask for it.

Thank you so much! I will be sending proofs next week. I just printed gazillion pictures from facebook, I even asked my aunt from the Philippines to scan the cards we sent to them on their bdays! I also asked our friends to write a letter stating that they know us and that our relationship is genuine. and is this the EDmonton office address?

9700 Jasper Ave. Suite 240 Canada Place Edmonton , AB. t5j 4c3? thanks again!

Hey guys,I just have a question for you more experienced folks.

When u sent in additional documents, how long did it take to show up on ecas? Did it show up when u got aip or when they opened up the additional docs and attached them to your file?

Ly or anyone can answer this question.

Thanks guys

Hi , tozo and Jurjen. I just redid my medical last week. as you said i need to sent a letter to this address to explain my case:

case processing centre
6212-55th ave
vegreville, Alberta
T9C 1W3

so i have three qustions here please help me:

1.i just saw the website that there is another postcode T9C 1W5 so which one i will write i am confused.

2. you guys told me to mark "important attached to file ASAP" do i also add "for PR applications" too?

3.Do i need to sent it after i make sure they have received it. or i just can do it right after the test?
This is the address according to the guide:
Case Processing Centre
Permanent Residence Applications
6212-55th Avenue
Vegreville, Alberta
T9C 1W3

Indeed, write: PLEASE ADD TO FILE ASAP
(attached is past thence, so doesn't make sense)

Write a letter with your Client ID#. Attach a photo copy of the receipts from the doctor's office as a proof.

Good luck!

Hi Jurjen
It has been almost three weeks since I sent my 2 photos to Montreal office. I have not received any mails or phone calls.
Do you think it is normal that the waiting time is so long?
I don't know exactly. Maybe they're waiting for a big enough group for a landing event. Considering that CIC Vegreville is slow, it might take a bit longer to form a group in Montreal too.
Maybe it's only once a month, so you'll be up in November.

Is there an admin or moderator on this forum?? Can't send PMs, can't reply to my PMs, can't add an avatar nor signature! Why are you guys making my life so difficult?!? Lol
Try to find an email address on Canadavisa.com. Or maybe be patient. In the beginning I had trouble too, now I don't. Maybe those are privileges you get after a certain amount of posts.

Go to the nearest office and explain (or if there's no office close to you: call). They can either explain in details why and how, or they can help you to correct any mistakes. Your boy friend most likely needs to be there with you. Canada is kind of paranoid when it comes to spouses dealing with the other's taxes (or any other money-related stuff).
