I just called CIC, and the agent told me that even we can see the BF'D on FOSS, doesn't mean that VO is gonna review the file on that date, and I have to wait 4 months before they can see any act on their side, and also there is no next BF'D which mean no body has no idea what's going on!
What a joke!

Today I call agent because I finished my 9 months of second stage approval but same answer, he said my back ground check is still not completed. I got my AIP & OWP on 6th April 2011. Originally apply for the first time on 16th June 2010. more than 1 & 1/2 year

Hi Mark_Anna... I'm just curious to ask if you submitted an RCMP Police Clearance through fingerprinting?.. I ask this coz I only send RCMP check not through fingerprinting...

Hi Visita 44,

I already sent my medical & RCMP (machine finger print which I think taken by officer at their office) when I sent my file first time to vegreville on 16th June 2010. Now they don't need anything from me, only thing I have to do is wait wait & wait.........................

Hi everyone, my wife's login on ecas was updated today. I was just curious what is next after the "medical received".....Im sure that this has been posted about a million times, but any help would be great, since we've been waiting for such a long time! I've copy and pasted what was posted. Thanks in Advance, and hope all of you are doing good!

"We received S******* application for permanent residence on December 1, 2010.

We started processing S******** application on January 17, 2011.

We transferred S******* application to the CIC Vancouver Admissions office on October 27, 2011. The CIC Vancouver Admissions office may contact S******.

Medical results have been received."

I heard that being transferred into a local office means that they might want to review something more, but its weird that the medical results have just been received... is this the first stage approval? what is in a first stage approval?

thanks againnn... !!! ;D

I have yet to see 'Medical results have been received.'

I hear that sometimes it does not show up at all. Is this true?

Well medical result have been received will show up in your ecas.....if its does not show up before AIP then its will be up in your second stage since medicals are of the second stage .its will show when they finished assessing your medical result.good luck

Called again CIC yesterday and they told me they sent us a letter for clients update on jan 5..... They are requesting a cohabitation proof...well i find it late to send it but we do have, we have 1 million proof ...it so as soon as we receive the letter i'll send it right back.... The guy said when it is an update requested by Cic it does not take long to open the mail (different adress) good news is that it is not a transfer just they nedd an extra paper... Which to my opinion they had plenty of proof in our original package!! But we'll povide what they want !

Dear all,

Happy New Year to all. Last Thursday, Jan 5th, we received confirmation from CIC that both stages of my wife's application had been approved on the very same day, which was nothing short of amazing (not surprisingly, she is still "recovering" from the good news :) ).

As she has been working for a while under another status, the only immediate issue at the moment is applying for OHIP (we currently live in Toronto). Although this is apparently a pretty straight forward and simple process, I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations or comments about this particular matter.

Cheers.

S :)

Congratulations!!!!!....am happy for you and how to start a new year with such a great news....this a combo with double,double..lol.well with regards to the OHIP ,you will need the underlisted document.

1. the letter from the CIC that you have been approved for PR
2.Prove of address....its can be either bank statement, fone bills or any thing that have your wife name and address on it.
3.a photo ID with signature issue by the province or any other identification with picture and signature eg passport.

with this you good to go with your OHIP registration at service Ontario and it will take about 3 months to receive the card......once again congratulations and almost are finished with this waiting game. :D :D
