I was able to start French classes with AIP. I think you may need an OWP as well though as there is a code on there that makes you eligable for classes. I will check when I get home, I remember writing a post about it when I went for my assesment in October last year.....Material said:Hey every 1

Just a question my wife went for her english assessment test but they are telling her that an AIP letter is not enough and that they have to contact immigration bla bla bla and that takes time ( just like everything else in this process) anyways does any 1 know where I could get written proof (from the CIC website or anywhere else) that says she eligible for linc classes after AIP?

Yes I received it by mail today - (1)their request was received on March 14, submitted the same day by regular mail, (2) second notice from CIC received April 1 (Friday) - scanned and submitted by email only (the same thing that was in the envelope sent to them March 14), (3) landing letter April 4 (Monday)Venemex said:You received your letter by mail? or they sent it by email or another way!!!

CIC Montreal letter requesting confirm your info and payment the fees: March 10
Submitted all the infomration on March 14th, 2011
