Inland Application sent

Hi guys,
I mailed my Inland application lastweek.the expected arrival of my documents to Vegreville was on friday August 23.
But my question is..how do I know they recieved my documents amd start on process?
Can you please share your experienced with me.

They will send your sponsor an acknowledgement of receipt by email. (sometimes mail)
I just sent mine last month and it took them a month to send my sponsor/spouse an email.

It doesn't mean it is in process though.
From what I gathered, it means all the signatures and required docs are there and will sit there for a while until they get around to process it

Okay thanks a lot. So how do we know that our applicstion is on process? They're going to send us another confirmation/email/letter again?

I believe they will show on your ecas. in the AOR email they will include UCI number and application number and you can search ecas with that. ecas is not entirely reliable, though.

Congrats to have sent the application. Great feeling.....I remember

First you will get a message that they have got it. Then you just wait. Then you will get a message that they started the process. In that message you will get the appication number and a personal number. With your personal number you will be able to log in to a personal page at CIC, and follow what is happening and when any decision is being made. But thats some time down the road. So for now all you can do is wait.....and enjoy having sent the application.

Il just try to click on that ecas site. But do you know what usually is the email address from CIC? Because my husband is always getting spam email he might think its a spam and he'll delete the email. I need him to aware about the emIl add. ???

We've got AOR from "Do Not Reply - Ne Pas Repondre <Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca>" and SA from "CIC-Email-Communications-CPCM <CPCM-EXTCOM@cic.gc.ca>".

To be sure, just add a filter with @cic.gc.ca and redirect everything received from an address from that domain to a separate folder.
