Last week, I received a letter from CIC asking me to fill out an information renew form.

Meanwhile, I checked my online status again.

We received your application for permanent residence on July 20, 2011.

We started processing your application on August 12, 2011.

We received the requested information on January 6, 2012. Thank you for providing the information.

A decision has been made and you will be contacted.

Congrats... we are the same time line but haven't heard anytime sense September when the wanted a new medical.
Oh I hope something comes soon!

Medical results have been received.

I was wondering if anyone has the similar situation as i do, and how long normally do i have to wait until DM?

Got Aip on Sep 5th 2012.

File transferred to local office for further 2nd stage assessment on Oct 10th 2012......No word from the local office since.

I got DM 10 days later you, till now , montreal office no news.

I got my DM on 13th March, still waiting for Montreal CIC to schedule an interview... Good thing I'm not alone... I guess they are busy at the moment...

I just called CIC and the girl said that the period between the DM letter and the landing interview letter shouldn't be more than 40 days (at least for the Scarborough office). I'm waiting for more than 2 months now.
She said she sent an email to that office requesting them to contact me.

I don't know if there is anyone in the same situation but I suggest to call CIC and let them know about your timeline.

I had a similar situation. I got DM on January 29th then I got a letter from Scarborough office on march 10th so almost a month and a half! Landing this week on April 19th. Hope this help
