Hello,

It seems like many 2011 applicants are getting their DMs recently, but I am still waiting for mine.

Applied in August 2011 and AIP granted in June 2012... Waiting for DM for 9 months now.

Just out of curiosity, who is still waiting for DM from 2011?

Applied October 2011, AIP in August 2011. Now in the 7th month of stage 2, still no news.
Who else is in the same boat? Wonder how many of you like us.

Applied October 2011 recieved AIP August 2012. I called last week, they said my application should be completed on April, they are waiting for nothing, agent told me everything is in there and nothing else they need. I should get my DM letter by end of April if not i have to call them May 1st. So i guess i have to stop thingking for now, its been 17 months.

same here I applied on Nov 2 2011 AIP Sep o4 waiting for DM

Now waiting.
We called the CIC as well and they said that we should hear something by the end of April begining of May.
She also said that we might have to get our medical updated but we have not received any letters askng for it.
Hopefully all is good.
I also ordered the NOTES and in there is states that Medical is in progress. Everything else is done.

Hi All,
Today I had my landing interview. It was very interesting experience. I read a lot about it online, but in the end I had a slightly different experience than others. There was a mix up with my medical and after 40 minutes wait (my interview was scheduled from 1:00pm to 1:15), the guy called me and said there is a problem with my medical. I said that I had a new one done last year and he said I believe you and started to ask us the regular questions. I was so scared, I didn't realize that he actually went an extra mile to make sure my landing takes place today. I am very grateful and relieved. So he asked regular question if my husband or I were convicted, if I were refused entry to Canada etc. Then I checked and put my initials, date and signature and that was it. He gave us a piece of paper and said to take good care of it. I think 20 minutes later I realized I am PR!

So my timeline:

July 6, 2011 - Application received
May 30, 2012 - AIP
January 30, 2013 - DM
March 27, 2013 - Landing interview

I had to redo my medical, but judging by my landing interview, the latest medical exam didn't make it to the destination.

Anyways, I am extremely happy to have this process over. The next step is PR card in approximately 2 months and Citizenship in approximately 2 years. I wish everyone strength to stay positive and the best luck!

Hi guys, I have been reading this forum for a while and keeping up with everyone. Just a quick low down on my wife's situation, we sent out our application in September 2011, received an AIP July 12, 2012. Received a request for police records in August, sent those out at the end of September. We then received another request for police records in Jan 2013, where I then send of a copy of what I sent before. A call to the call centre confirmed that they actually received my records the first time.

We are just patiently waiting for a DM as it has been 9 months since the second stage began. We have been getting mixed signals with one agent saying we will get a DM in a couple of weeks with another saying there is nothing on his screen that indicates that. Suffice to say this has been a bit frustrating for our family. Any thoughts or tips? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi Guys & Galls,

Quick question,
I got my DM on June 21st 2013 and since then waiting for my landing to be scheduled(Vancouver office I am assuming).
Do you know if there is a maximum time for this part of the process?(I read before 3 months but am not sure).
