Congratulations!-I love reading about the finished apps because it means they can move on to the next application which puts us that much closer to the finish line! :)

More than pleased to get out of the way for you Mrembo.

Tecle, if you don't hear from the MP soon make a call...

To the CIC staff in Vegreville, we immigrants might not be as grateful as we should be for your efforts.
But it has to be said that your computer system has changed, your funds cut and you as a result have a thankless job.
So, ultimately, Thank You for letting me live with my sweetie. I really do love him. And Canada is a very good place to live.

To those still waiting... my wait was not as long as some and longer than others. But I do remember those moments when I just thought it would not happen. (Like when my charming teenage step-children told me they were going to get me deported because their dad should have stayed married to their mom all those years ago.) So, fellow immigrants I pray that your paperwork does not get mislaid and you go smoothly through the bumps. And if it does not I'll stick around to lend some sympathy!!!

Thanks Blue

NO snow out here on Vancouver Island, just rain... Send some this way.
I hope to go south right after landing, I know that there is some discussion about whether I should wait for the permanent residency card, but I'm going for it.
I don't know the Montreal time line for landing, but you might get an earlier landing date than me!

Shock of a lifetime.. went to 6900 airport road as request. Only then did we find out that the common-law sponsership application was denied. (don't know why)
but also that they have inforced a deportation order 3 weeks is what he is given to leave. Head spinning right now
