same here! got AIP in december and they said now background check.. just dunno how long it gonna take............ if their avg time is trustworthy, then 8 months........ahhaha

What is MP? I dont have kids, i dont have any ticket in my life... I dont get any notice form febreary 2012 ( a lottery saying the found the Medical check ) after that i cal long and calling and always they said ( we will make an update cause we cant see nothing here) they cant see my Medical check , still like Shen i got my AIP, now i sent another Medical check ( the lady said to do it after 3 updated ) the updated take 3 months each one!

I see you 2011 people have slipped off the first page. I thought a quick note from your 2012 friends to say congratulations to everyone who has DM would help get you back onto the front page. I am looking after the spreadsheet for 2012 so it is really nice to know when someone gets DM from 2011, it keeps our spirits up in 2012. Keep the good news coming.

Thank you very much blue7120 and Rusty53 for your kind thoughts, Rusty I would still say 2012 mates have had far better luck than us 2011 folks. If you noticed, the duration of the first phase has been reduced to half and quite a few folks are already through with the entire process. I am sure those who are waiting will be through as well very soon.

Hi , I just called to CIC right now, the lady told the same, she dont see nothing but this time she TRANSFERED me to other dpt , and the other lady was like 10 minutes checking but finally she told me the same still in process (she was surprised i don't get any letter from febreary 2012 but this time she said this "Call back again march 4th to follow up your process"

Now I thinking why she told exactly this day?
anybody have the same answer from CIC?
