Hi guys!

I just want to say well done to everyone who've got AIP and who are landing or have landed! :D

I got my AIP and they've requested for a police certificate from ENGLAND, which I got at the end of last month. This Wednesday I got my medical exam. I'm just wondering, during the medical do they give me a form to send to immigration to prove that I've done it? Is it a photocopy of 'Section A' form that we bring to the exam?

Also is this the address I send both the police certificate and proof of medical exam to:
CPC Vegreville
6212-55th Avenue
Vegreville, AB
T9C 1W5

Many thanks!

Hey Monkeypoohbear
when you do your medical exam usually they give you a copy and they send a copy to CIC, and yes you should send that proof to CIC. the address you have is correct as far as I know that's where I sent my requested info too.

good luck!

Hi all,

I received a letter on september 16th to schedule my landing interview.
My interview will happen on November 22 here in Calgary.
In the meantime, my husband and I moved to a new place.
Our mailing address remains the same (because I always got my immigration
mails sent to my in-laws house and we have now moved to their place)
but our residential address has changed. I filled out the online form on CIC
to change the address. Our new address is still in the same city (Calgary).
Do you think it is a problem that we moved just before the landing interview ?
or not at all ?

Thanks for your help !

I don't think so. As long as your mailing address is still the same. I have moved twice since the application and i just keep updating CIC. I land in Calgary too on the 8th. Good luck!

Congrats !
Keeps us posted on how it goes :)

Does somebody know what information is on the Confirmation of Permanent Residence ?
Is the address on it ?
Home address or mailing address ?
and is the sponsor's address on the document ?
What happens if the address is wrong when they give you the papers for review at landing
interview ? Can they change it immediately ?

Thanks,
Amandine

Thank you for the info. Did they asked since update since AOR only? We had to provide info since AOR.
Since AoR requesting additionnal background infos, no other updates or additionnal information was requested.
We did our medical in March as it was not done prior to send the file.

Yeah, sometimes I am wondering if they don't wait to have a number of applicants to proceed at a given time and then select a common date for landing.

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to write and give an update on our status. So we received a letter back from the Vancouver office on October 4th that they were sending an IO to Victoria so we had our landing in Victoria instead of Vancouver. It was really casual and quick, probably 15 minutes from the time we entered until we left. So it is a huge relief to be done with this part and now we just have to wait for the PR card which should come in the mail 6-8 weeks we were told. Anyway we are so happy and thankful for all the help we received in this forum.

Good luck to everyone else who may still be waiting!!
