Hey peanutbrittle! I just got the same update as you on eCAS today. Let me know when you get your email or letter as I would do the same. Are you landing in Edmonton?

Hey pcheng!
Congratulations!! I will definitely let you know when I receive my e-mail or letter. I'm landing in Vancouver. :) I hope we both get our landing interviews quickly!

I'm assuming they're similar regardless of how you get it into your passport (or travel document). Mine looked something like this: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8151/6960096598_938bc0fb15_z.jpg

But I'd expect you'd treat it the same as any visa stamped in an old passport - just keep it with you. So the combination of your new passport + old travel document including the stamp would be sufficient to prove you had landed. A bit annoying, but it shouldn't be too onerous.

thank you computergeek, I guess I would have carry both of them together just in case.

can some one tell me whats going am so worried

call center is telling that my file is still in etobicake i dont know what to think any more

Please don't stress. Returning your application to the Case Processing Centre within normal service standards is not a bad thing. Don't call the Call Centre anymore. They are not always up to date with what's going on. It is only October 17. I know it will be difficult but give it until Monday. My ecas hasn't moved and I received an email about a file transfer October 1.
