Congratulations on your quickie immigration process!!!
I must admit I'm a little jealous :, I sent mine in Oct 4, 2011 and still haven't heard a peep from the CIC. Just curious, where did you send your application?
I sent mine to Vegreville so perhaps its a difference in the processing times of where the application was sent.

it was also sent at the vegreville office i think it is because i had my cbsa officer pushing the process and thanks a lot

I think you should ask vincystress because that was my response to his/her question.
Anyway, I saw his/her answer right below, you can reference to the info there.

You sent your app. before me 1/2 month, if there is some news from CIC, you must get it before I do. Don't worry, your turn will come in around 2 months.

Hi everyone

Just wanna share, on 12th of July I got a letter of my DM dated July 9,2012.

Today, I got a letter again from CIC Edmonton that on 26 of July I am scheduled for my landing date/interview & I have to pay the RPRF & 2 pcs PR card Photo.

21 days from DM to landing date... ^__^

Yeah, if in your Ecas change to decision made that means stage 2 is already finalized. You will receive a letter saying that the PR application is completed & just wait for the local office to contact you for your landing date/interview.

April 1, 2012- I sent my police cert.
April 21, 2012- I did my Medical Exam
May 7, 2012- Ecas updated that they received the requested info
July 9, 2012- Decision Made
July 12, 2102- I received letter from CIC Edmonton for landing date/interview
July 26, 2012- Landing date/interview

Hey guys,

Was just wondering what's the timeline for Scarborough office. CIC vegreville gave me a decision made on April 27th and asked me to send a renewed copy of my passport. I sent it and it updated on my Ecas that they received it on July 3rd haven't heard anything till now :S

I didn't, I got different information while on the process of gathering my application package. It's a choice not to send PCC & medical exam as they will expire. But could be an advantage if applicant will send the complete application package. I don't take that advantage though... & not to pay the RPRF with my application package.

Hi everybody

Finally I got my pr card in my mailbox today after the landing interview at CIC Montreal on May 23.

Actually I kept myself busy with planning to further my study here and practicing my French skill so I forgot all about the PR card.

So now I'm planning my trip back to my home country, Thailand.

At least I can get CIC out of my head until 2014 when I apply for Canadian citizenship.
