Inland Application 2011

I got a UNKNOWN call from one of the call centre agent early this morning, He said he was checking if I recieved the AIP letter back on August which is I recieved on end of August. And then he checked my application, so far my files is ok, no more information or requirements they are waiting for. Evrything looks good but he said I should get my 2nd letter by end of April. It could be before April and If on April 29 and I have not recieved a 2 letter I have to call them. Well this made my day, Atleast I know my due date..... Elhamdullilah.....

Congrats! How come I have never received any calls or emails from CIC since I got my aip.

now according to the immigration it takes 4 to 6 weeks to schedule the landing in Edmonton... more waiting hehehe oh well at least its near the end line!!Good luck to everybody else.

Hey, how can you find out waiting times in local office? I live in Calgary....

ji carol! smy daughter is 10 yo and shes accompanying as my dependant, theyre doing the background check for me and for her i think. and thast what cic told me they will just forward an instruction to her custody and still waiting , keep me posted and its nice to meet u here as well! merry christmas !

Just an update, yesterday we got our landing interview letter. We are landing on February 8th at Scarborough. The letter is dated January 10th so it basically took one month to get an interview. This is our timeline.



Application filed April 1st 2011
Started Processing April 27th 2011
AIP February 29th 2012
We contacted local MP on December 3rd 2012
Decision Made December 5th 2012
Landing February 8th 2013



We are finally getting there !!!



Good luck to everyone and dont lose hope !! there is a light at the end of the tunnel !!!

how are you? I haven't posted for a while, i'm surprised you haven't heard anything yet.
I think if the month of jan, ends maybe try going to see if the MP can contact them about your case. hopefully it will come soon. your application has been 18 months already.
