That seems most logicalcomputergeek said:That is normal for application completion, but if your medicals have expired they may require that you have an updated set done before you land. Unless you are a threat to public health or safety, they won't refuse on medical grounds.
Every case is unique.

Thats exactly what happened - medicals have expired. I was hoping we would be ok and not need them redone but we missed the 15 month mark by 2 months Do you know how long it typically takes for them to receive the new medicals and clear everything for landing?computergeek said:That is normal for application completion, but if your medicals have expired they may require that you have an updated set done before you land. If CIC process AIP for curious_one 2 days ago, dont think CIC has opened my application yet.

I did my medicals in Scarborough (ON) and 1 week after the doctor sent them to Ottawa, then Ottawa sent the results to Vegreville. In general it takes at the most a couple of months (in my case it was 1,5 month).curious_one said:Thats exactly what happened - medicals have expired. What had me confused is that after the note about medicals requested they put decision made for PR....
No no - no downers don't worry! You were just helping - more information from other peoples experiences helps me determine the reality with mine - it helps ease my mind if anything!labhouise said:Ah No, I don't mean to put a downer on your great news
Hopefully, I have it wrong and you will get loads of letters next week
As Computergeek says, each case is different. Your Ecas could change anytime
I really hope its both stages for you. You've waited long enough
