Inland Application 2011

Hey guys, I've been visiting this forum for a few months now.

Cic recieved my application nov 14 2011.
Started processing jan 30 2012.

I have been checking my eacs ever so often, this morning when i checked it said "medical received" but it doesn't say that they are processing the application.
It doesn't show decision made in my sponsers eacs either.

Anyone have any idea what this may indicate?

I just got my Ecas updated tonight to DM. But I received an email last Saturday about the DM. It jsut took them a while to update it I guess. Anyway, it's been almost 2 months that I waited for the DM for permanent residence. Thank God that I am 1 step closer!

Congrats wicket08..we just moved in red deer last june from edmonton. ;D

Has anyone received their 2nd stage approval if applied in Mid Nov 2011 ? How long does it take to receive 2nd stage approval after one
receives the 1st stage approval ? I read a couple of you guys received the 2nd stage just after 2 months since u all got ur 1st stage

i have no clue how long it take i have been waiting for 3 months now i just riding it out it look my whole summer so am just ganna forget it and move on

My spouse got the OWP & Stage 1 approval back in March.

The current problem seems to be that the medical result from the submission have expired?

We still are waiting for the CIC to confirm they can extend the medical result???

The call center just mentioned that we just have to wait??? It been 6 months of waiting and no result.

Any advice will be appreciated.

it all depends. Every case is handled differently and some get the Stage 2 aproval only a few days after Stage 1 was approved. Some get AIP and stage 2 DM at the same time. Some take more than a month. For most people that have been on this forum, They wait 2-4 months for the Stage 2 approval. It may get frustrating when you see people getting their DM's right away for PR after the stage 1 but I guess we can't really do anything about it but just wait. On the processing time table stage 2 may take up to 8 months. My Stage 2 approval took 2 months from my AIP.

If they haven't requested for a new medical then don't send it, because sending stuff that they didn't ask for will farther delay the application.
my medical has just expired too as I submitted my application in Aug, 2011 so if they didn't ask for it don't send a new one.
does it say on your ecas the medical have been received?

Haha! Funny thing is I sent a photocopy of my passport before I posted a reply here. And after I read your reply before that I should not send anything if they didn't asked to, I kinda got worried and hated myself for a bit!!! hahaha. But it makes sense, don't complicate the situation, right? So don't send anything that they are not asking for. I think I just got lucky to get my DM and it might have taken them a while to open that litlle white envelope that I sent. Or it might have got lost or something. Who knows! any update on your status?

haha thats funny, I think you probably got your DM before they had a chance to open it. because i know it takes some time for them to open mails. either way you are almost done
