Inland applicants - fingerprints request letter

For the inland application, is this required? I have a police certificate from my country, but did not get the fingerprints with it.

Not every country requires fingerprints for the police check. If yours did not, you don't need to have them taken.

oh good, so I guess some countries do not issue the police report without fingerprints.
