Hello,

I am looking to connect with outland candidates who moved to Canada while their PR application was still open, to share updates and support.

Let me start:

Stream: FSW
AOR: 06 Jan 2020
Application status: Eligibility, criminality, security all passed, but application not approved yet. Medical was renewed March 2021 for a year, no activity since then.

I moved to Canada in May 2021 on a work permit, submitted a webform with my updated address, they said received thank you, and no updates since then.

Any similar stories?

I am also in the same boat, where my PR application is in progress and my employer is filing for LMIA based work permit.

Did your move to Canada expedite your PR application?

Not really, I moved for work with an internal company transfer, which was LMIA exempt.

It did work actually, I received the Portal confirmation mail last week
