Information on Sponsoring my Spouse

Hi,

I got my PR card last month and currently, I am in Canada. I will be coming back to India for my marriage in February and will be there for a month or so. I am still having a doubt regarding how can I sponsor my wife so that she can come here soon. I have searched regarding Spousal Dependant Visa but the Processing time for it is approx. 1 year.

Kindly suggest me some of the options which I can consider?

She can apply for a travel visa, come to Canada, submit your sponsorship application while in Canada, then apply for open work permit

Or alternatively, if she can, apply directly to EE, that would be much faster.

Don't waste your time and money on visitor visa applications, her visa will most likely be rejected.

I think I have to go for the option that she comes on travel visa here and then apply for her Spousal Visa from here. However, can you suggest me some other way as well
