some consultant told me. It takes about 1 year from when it reaches Edmonton Office. After hearing that information. I am very sad and angry
at the office responsible to process such applications.

IRCC has an Instagram and Twitter account. We should all get together and start questing TRP application questions. If enough of us does it hopefully we can make some noise and be heard.

I don't believe that this is true. Before covid, the process used to take about 6 months. I called the IRCC some time ago and they told me that TRP is a case-based process as the time to process your application is different than what mine might be. However, 9, or 16 months is way too long. I know people who applied for their PR after I submitted my TRP and got it.

Right now I am thinking of reapplication as my situation get worse and we are also on the verge on applying for welfare.

Hi, I saw a article from a firm that they handle a writ regarding TRP application so yes a writ of madamus can also be a resolution to get a response from IRCC regarding our matter.

Can the people who applied early 2020 respond if they got any updates? i am guessing once they get approval they don't check forums like this
any more.

Would help us understand a time line.

I am waiting for my pgwp since Feb 2021 applied outland. Meanwhile i am out of status and still in Canada. Do i apply for TRP now and wait for my pgwp or should I wait for the decision on the PGWP?
