I am wondering since I am in implied status do I need to file for taxes? I have been in implied status since September 2021 however since I graduated at the end of 2020 I did not work.

It’s going to be almost 21 months and there’s no updates or information on the application. I honestly hate the fact that they are taking so long to process applications.

Do anyone thinking of reapplication? Noting to cancel the fist application once the later is processed.

My Mp sent out a request to finalize my application last May 14th haven’t heard anything from it. But I was hopeful

What's the point of doing that? either way, you will still get the decision for your initial application first.

I am not sure if that means much to us as we applied for a TRP.

That's for TRVs. TRPs are completely different. Don't reapply for the TRP.

Hi everybody. I have a TR to PR application active on my profile, being assessed by IRCC. Meanwhile, it is time to apply for my PGWP and my lawyer recommended applying with TRP, but reading this thread discourages me to do so. I am wondering if I apply for PGWP + TRP and get the PR answer on the meantime can I just withdraw the PGWP and TRP application?

How do you stay at implied status that long? They did’t check your files yet. And yes you could fill your tax
