I am applying visa for sept 17 intake for university of manitoba. My agent which is dealing my case says that you should have money in your account for atleast 3 months before applying for canada student visa is this true? I have statment of C$55000 but 3 months complete in first week of june. Help me regarding this.

If you go by the book, it should be of 4 months. sometimes it gets relaxed, depending on the VO, but 3 months will be required. in any case you have to provide 4 moths statement even though it starts with zero balance.
So I would suggest to wait till June 1st week, get a statement starting from February, submit it along with other financial supports (loans, property, salary slips, fixed deposit etc). June mid will not be too late for September intake.

I was worried because many people were saying its taking 7-9weeks in total from my country Pakistan. And my yearly fees is C$ 15000 and the bank statement i am showing is C$55000 is it good enough to satisfy VO?
Brother i have paid my first semester fees which is around 9000C$. Other than this i have C$55000 as bank statement. And some property also.
Yea i just fear from refusal and want it to be in time as i have to go to canada in august.

Yea, bit scary. I guess they should be okay with it and if you also provide property documents then you are on safe side. Btw in which university and what course are you going?
