Hi guys!

I'm a PR living in Canada sponsoring my wife who lives in Pakistan.

For the question about when we first met (form IMM 5532), should I put in the actual date we met, or the date we starting seeing each other romantically -- which was 6 years after we first met? We did not meet in those 6 years.

I was going to put in the actual date, but then I read a bunch of threads online that said our supporting documents should tell a story over the entire period we've known each other. If that's true, I should put in the date we started dating, as we had no interaction for 6 years after the first meeting.

Thoughts?

I would put the date you first met, and in the part that it says "describe the circumstances of your first meeting" you can include the gap and say when your met again.

Best to be honest.
