Info on biometrics

Iam going to apply with in this month for September (offline)
Medical
Gic
Fee
But my consultant didn’t gave any information on biometrics.
Upon visiting here
People are querying about biometrics
And now iam concerned about it
Please can anyone elaborate how this works?
I’ve googled and there is no mention of biometrics either
Just medical,gic,fees and then apply.

Biometric will be taken at the time of application (offline) at vfs. I mean when you will submit your file. But it would be under non sds category because for sds you have to apply online.
