info for a College Student needed ASAP

Guys I came to Canada for my ACCA from LSBF. Lol you all must know how that ended. However today I just got accepted into Humber. (for a 2 yr diploma). (am still a student at LSBF)

What I want to know is how do I go about changing my study permit and getting a new VISA on my passport (I AM ALL READY IN CANADA)

1. You do not need to apply for a new SP. You can continue to use your SP as long as it is valid.

But my study permit has LSBF on it? dont i need to change that?

Also my Study permit/VISA expires in the end of August 2013 (my course is for 2 yrs). I want to renew them both. So what would be the process?

1. Having LSBF on SP does not matter, for SP renewal fill up IMM 5709: Application to Change Conditions or Extend Your Stay in Canada and you can apply at the most 3 months in advance.

Applied form Pakistan to the ISB CHC. in Dec 2011. Got my VISA in August 2012. LONGGG WAIT..

LSBF SUCKS!!! no opportunities for you if you go to LSBF. Their teachers and course material sucks. very very disappointed.

So after one semester I applied to humber. my IELTS was expires so I had to give an admissions test. I just got accepted today. so wanted to know how to renew my documentation!

so just to get this straight;

My current SP and VISA both expire in the end of August 2013,

it doesn't matter which institute I have an SP for, I can study anywhere on it.

I can only apply for a SP extension 3 months before my SP is suppose to expire (ie June 2013),

Once I get my SP extension I can apply or a TRV extension.

is this correct or can i apply for a TRV right now with my LOA?, or only when I get my SP extension

thank you so much for detail information but i want to continue my post secondary diploma course in same college. i want to drop the first two semesters becoz in that time i want to prepare for USMLE after step 2 i want to join my diploma course, is it possible to do? one more question as completed my post secondary diploma can i get pgwp?or if i leave 2 semesters can it will effect on my pgwp and pr?answer in detail please

yes Ive gotten a LOA from Humber.. but ppl say you cant apply for a SP extension until there are 3 months left in ur SP?

also is it true that I can use my current study permit to study in a different institute that then one I originally came for? (ie LSBF to Humber)?
