Hello friends,
A friend of mine had applied to OINP as a Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) in February 2016 and he is still waiting for Acknowledgement of Receipt (AoR). The problem is that his FSW points will drop below 67 due to his birthday in early August. While this will not be a problem for OINP, he got a reply from OINP that they cannot issue a nomination against an ineligible Express Entry profile which is to be used for the federal PR process later.
Earlier he wrote to OINP and the Minister to see if they can do something about it like the Work Permit expiry cases, but none responded positively since he did not get AoR yet. He has a maximum score in IELTS and for work experience. He withdrew his application yesterday.
Now he is looking for options that could help him immigrate to Canada. He is planning to apply for colleges which will help him to get some Canadian experience in the process to apply as a CEC. He will be grateful if someone suggests some colleges (light on pocket) and what other options he can pursue in this scenario? He is into Industrial Engineering, a branch related to Mechanical Engineering.
Thanks.
