Friends,

Pl assist me for the queries mentioned below -

1. PCC - I stayed in Jaipur, Rajasthan for 18 years, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat for 4 years, in Jamnagar, Gujarat for 4 years and currently I am in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh from last one year. I want to confirm that PCC for all the states required or only Andhra Pradesh will be enough.

2. I have sent my spouse docs for ECA but evaluation not completed yet. Shall I claim her points too during EE profile creation.

3. I individually have a greater score than considering spouse coming with me. Shall I go ahead and sponsor her after reaching. Any issues ??

4. I have been transferred to Vizag from Jamnagar in the same business. Do I need to collect job reference from Jamnagar to and what can it be ??

5. How can I apply for some other code ?? e.g. In Canada, Engineer requires a license from governing authority to become Engineering manager from Graduate Mechanical Engineer. What are the ways I can apply for that while I live in India ? I may go there for exams and interviews, if possible.

6. How can one apply for PNPs ?? easiest province to approach.

7. For Medical reports, How many days it take ?

Thanks in advance ..

1- go to the passport office in your city. The police clearance issued by them should be sufficient.

2) Wait for ECA to be completed.

3) No you cant sponsor her after landing canada. You have to apply with your spouse. once you have visa in hand You can come to canada alone and later call your spouse.

4) yes, ask your employer to provide transfer letters and certificate from your then reporting manager that you worked under him and you have been transferred to so and so place for your career growth.

5) either the employer who provides lmia can sponsor you to come to canada or a province nomination. To get certified practicing license you have to be in canada. codes can be obtained only after your arrival in canada on either pr or tr.

6) Go to CIC website and check individual links for all provinces. You can determine which province to apply based on your nature of work. The outlook tool on job bank website will help you locate better province in your field.

7) Don't go for medicals unless your are asked to do so. As the results will expire in 12 months. The doctors normally send your report in 3 weeks if they are paper based and 24 hrs for doctors who are electronically registered. Check physician panel on cic website for more details.

After her ECA, can we both become principal applicants ?? She also qualifies the criteria for express entry ..

You need to show liquid cash and proof from where you got it. The cic normally ask for 6 months bank statement. And the funds should in your account until you land in canada. I would suggest to make a Fixed deposit and take loan against FD.

Ps: there are other ways of arranging funds. But be careful while choosing.

Please feel free to ask further questions.

It is always better to have single principal applicant or you will have to show funds individually twice. Moreover the cic won't accept 2 applications. What are the CRS scores of you and your wife?

Friend,

Regarding funds, Can I borrow it from the parents and show in the account ?? Will that count ??

and In case of both the principal applicants, one can decline afterwards too .. but she will also be registered with the job bank and may increase the chances .. Individually I am 441 and she is 423 but when applied as couple, considering me as principal applicant it comes to 436 ..

Since my ECA completed and for hers, it took time in arranging the docs .. I was thinking to apply considering her ECA also done .. any way after the draw if ITA comes she has two months to complete her ECA .. what is your opinion ?? Why shall I miss nineth draw for ECA unavailability of spouse ..

Sorry to hijack this thread: If the spouse isn't accompanying the principal applicant, why can't the principal applicant sponsor the spouse later on after landing in Canada? Does CIC have any documentation on this? Where did you get this information from?

Thanks,
Dan

CIC doesn't care where you got the money from as long as it is in your account. But I would expect, you should have this money sitting in your account for 6 months at least so that the bank letter if it mentions the quarterly balance will show that amount.

That said, this is what CIC's website states

"You cannot borrow this money from another person. You must be able to use this money to pay the costs of living for your family (even if they are not coming with you)."

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

Cheers!

You need to mention your marital status while filling out your application. You cannot hide it and if you do you cannot sponsor your spouse later.

Right, we can state the marital status as married and spouse as non accompanying right? That all above board and legit. Once the principal applicant lands in Canada, settles may be, could sponsor spouse?

This is how I interpret CIC's requirement. CIC expects the application to have the cash in liquid form - so you need either cash, FD's or something you can use. I don't see how loan papers or home asset value in anyways will help. Best is either to borrow cash from parents, in-laws, or a lender and keep it in your account for some time. if there is a sudden deposit it surely doesn't look right.
