Hi Friends,

Today I received Medical request and RPRF request from CHC-LOndon. My NOC is 0213. The interview has been waived. My status became "in process" on 31-Au-2010 and after almost more than 7 months, we have now received Medical Request. I am very happy .

We have booked the appointment with DMP for the next week. I will keep you guys updated.

One question for seniors or anyone who knows the details of the medical test requirements - the DMP has asked my wife to undergo smear test and my wife would not like to do that. Is this test (smear test) mandatory? Pleas throw some light on this. Thanks.

Good luck to all those who got their med requests and looking forward to move to canada. mine went to process in aug 2010 and still waiting for med request...but still hope left. btw i live in the uk.

however do you think 'new job opps' and 'growth in career once in job in canada' is better or equivalent to someone in the USA. Also I hear foreign credentials are not considered and/or understood in canada for whatever irrational reasons?

Pls try not to be trigger happy with your response and consider it in the context of an indian national tyring to secure a job and grow with meritocracy in relation to a white or european canadian.

snail mail. MR consists of forms with photo on it. So it would always be by regular postal mail and I believe they use government post service i.e. Royal Mail in case of CHCLondon.

As ur 2nd AOR is of Sept 2010, u need to wait for few more months. i know its quite painful to wait. But cant help it buddy. Post June 2010 applications are on priority at the moment.
