See they will never speak with 100% certainty but she definitely was in a good mood today in Both the calls. So in the first call the question was now that VACs have opened, what about the old applications?
Exact words were: “We are releasing decisions as we speak and we will keep doing it, in case you have not received a decision, please wait till this Friday and hopefully it should be done.” You can find today’s webinar’s on Youtube too.
Great to read this. Well unfortunately in the second call there weren't any such answers.. but this really gives me some hope.

Hi, I'm new here. Just wondering what webinar are you referring to. Does the webinar cover all applicants around the world or it just applies to applicants from a certain country? Thank you!

The VO repeatedly said everything applies generally to all countries!

This was a webinar specifically for India.

The VO said the deadline of August 6 for complete applications remains the same for all countries.

BUT. In majority of countries the results are NOT on hold. So 90% information related to release of held decisions applies to Indian applications.

Hope this clarifies. :)

Thank you for your clarification. I am Chinese applying from the United States. All I can see is that my application is being processed. If they are not holding my decision, that means they are still processing it.

But if so, what does the Friday thing mean, was it only for Indian applicants?

Yes. It was in context of Indians only. They said as VACs have opened up for all, now the held decisions will be released.

And they are still not holding onto their words (but from a massive surge in refusals it seems they really are catching up speed)
