Indian university transcripts

Hey guys,
I'm thinking of applying for Masters in Canada for 2018. I am very confused about submission of transcripts. What exactly are these transcripts? Are they my marksheets issue by my school and colleges and Mumbai university? Or are they something which will be issued separately by the college attended by me.
I am also very confused that if these transcript, if they are different than the mark sheets issue by Mumbai university, who should issue it? Is it my college or the university to which my college is affiliated.
Let's say I got my bachelors from College A and masters from College B. Who will issue these transcripts...the colleges itself or the Mumbai university? Also I have done bachelors from college A and Masters from college B...so should I sent transcripts from both the college separately? I'm so confused and stressed regarding this. Will i also need to submit my grade 11 and 12 transcript? And how do i send them? In separate envelope or a common sealed envelope? Please help me out with this guys. Thanks.

Hey ! these transcripts are sealed and are given by university. But for that you have to give one application to university with proof whatever they ask you. Like i did my graduation from Punjab technical university so i applied online for official transcripts and uploaded my scanned documents whatever they asked me. I got those (sealed) transcripts at my home address as i given it online there. I don't know the procedure of your university but these official transcripts will only be given by your university. Like if have done your Graduation and Masters from different universities so you have to apply in both the universities for transcripts. According to me colleges have nothing to do with this. Better call in your university to know the procedure rather than going there. May be there could be any alternative like online or something as i did. And your 11th and 12th documents are totally depends on the university you are applying for whether they ask you for this or not.

And if you are thinking to apply for Masters then don't get late because there are plenty of applications already submitted to the canadian universities (just a suggestion rest your wish)

They are important but for some colleges might not be mandatory. Depends from college to college, check there admission process.

'Transcripts' in one saying is the attested copy of your mark sheets, duly attested and sealed in envelop by the University. They are issued by the highest authority, so for you it would be the main university to which your colleges is affiliated. If your bachelors college A and Masters College B are affiliated from same Authority C then you can contact C to issue your A & B transcripts in sealed envelope to your Indian address.
I assume you meant Mumbai University would be your Authority C, correct ?
Then you can send those as it is to the Canadian colleges you are applying to along with other documentation.
11/12 grade transcripts are usually not required but may be required by some Canadian colleges (check there application checklist).
I don't know what bachelors you have done but e.g. B-Tech transcripts comprises of 8 semesters mark sheets (so 8 pages) and sometimes University also adds one page as cover letter saying degree completed and total scored. So total of these 9 pages each attested by university and have university stamp and placed in single envelop, closed/glued with university seal on the envelop edge. You can request all these transcripts to your Indian address and then send all 4 together in one big envelop to your Canadian college.

I live in Canada and for my transcript I had applied to a service provider firm named mail transcripts as it was not possible for me to go to university in person nor I had really anyone who could handle it on my behalf. And I am quite satisfied with their services. They have done a really nice job. As I got my transcript on time. Hope this info was useful.
