due to Christmas n new year ,, in every airline seats have been already booked or its in the waiting list.

of course ,the air-ticket prices are at the top now days.

I applied for student visa on 26th nov. 2010 for the program which starts on 4th January..
I applied without IELTS and Bankloan....I submitted my Toefl score and bank balance. I understand that my chances are very slim.
Now application status is showing as 'under processing'...
The problem is I got acceptance from US university for Jan 2011. I'm planning to attend US visa interview in the end of December. I heard even withdrawal of application takes too long.
How can I get my passport back from high commission? Is there a way I request my passport, so that I can attend US interview?
