I sent photo copies of my passport attested by notary along with couple of photographs to India. My father got everything for me and posted PC back to me. It takes less time as compared going through embassy.

how long did u take

Hi

Simple

Make an application with the appropriate fee with the Consulate general of India anywhere available in Canada

The process takes about 6 weeks and you will get your PCC via mail from the consulate you made the application from

The flip side: I heard these days they retain the Indian passport for about 2-3 weeks or maybe 6 weeks

Hey for what it is worth go in nperson to the consulate, you might get away with it

All the best
:D
