Indian Police clearance Certificate PCC new circular - 21 Dec

Even I faced the same problem in Bangalore PSK. They mentioned rules have changed, and they cannot issue PCC if the address if different. Asked us to apply for re-issue of passport. Did that, and today got the new passport with current address.

Went to PSK office for PCC : 26th Dec 2016
Applied for re-issue of Passport : 3rd Jan 2016
Passport received : 9th Jan 2016 (actually it should have been delivered on 7th Jan 2016, but we were not present at home).
Police verification pending.

Will get the PCC from PSK after my police verification is done.

So your passport number changed, so what happened to your ITA? Did you apply from scratch all over again and waited for ITA?

Or is there a process to get passport number and details transferred?

As the IELTS scorecard also reflects your passport number.

Guys just heard from ministry of external affairs, that the circular is rolled back, now you can apply for PCC, even if your address is different.
how ever be ready to give proof for your address.

I went to Pune PSK. and I took with me my registered rental Agreement, inspite of that was refused to give PCC.
should I get it from District Police office ? is it valid ?
any link that states that ?

Hi,

Local police station will only give PCC for your stay in that city. Which is not acceptable. PCC should be issued by PSK as they do not mention any dates.

Could you guide little more.
I have been staying in rented accommodation in Delhi for around 8 years (same society but different apartments). Prior to that I was in Gurgaon but don't have the rent agreements for that duration.

-So do I need PCC from both Gurgaon and Delhi or only Delhi PCC would be sufficient?
-If PCC is received through PSK then no need to have PCC from multiple regions?
-Address on PP is different then current address.. How much time do think it will take to receive PCC through PSK

I went PSK nagpur on 31 st march for PCC they had accepted my application tho having different address present and passport

when i sent emails and tweet to lot of RPOs and MEA, i got in email that the earlier circular has been rolled back.

PO Pune has replied online that Dear applicant, \ The previous order issued by the Ministry has

been withdrawn hence you are advised to re­schedule your appointment for P.C.C. and submit

with your current address proof. On receipt of Police verification report P.C.C. will be issued

accordingly. Thank You.
