Hi All,

I came to Mexico on Business Visa (Not work permit) on October 10, 2019 and got ITA on Nov 27,2019.
I had taken PCC from PSK delhi on September 26, 2019 ( 2 weeks before my exit frok India) which i now realized is no more valid.
I have to go back to India on April 5, and i checked with Consulate at Indian Embassy Mexico if i can get a PCC from here and they are not cooperating stating that they only provide these services to Work Permits.

Now i have 3 options, can someone please help which is the right way to go ahead please?

1. Obtain Online PCC from DelhiPolice Online PCC service and attach both PSK PCC(dated 26 sept) and DelhiPolice PCC with a LOE explaining my situation of being unable to obtain PCC from Indian Embassy Mexico(i can show travel tickets between my city and city where embassy is and my taxi receipts between airport and embassy) and requesting to consider Delhi Police PCC for the missing 15 days, as i was in delhi at my permanent address between september 26 and october 10. (PS: I have stayed at multiple addresses during college, work but permanent address has always stayed Delhi)

2. Travel to India for a week and obtain a PCC, the cic website says PCC date of issue is valid if it was issued last time you stayed for 6 or more months in a row.( Is this option legit, this will be a USD 3000 return journey for me so wanted to make sure its valid). Post obtaining PCC i need to travel back to Mexico.

3. Attach only existing PCC with LOE explaining my situation.

Kindly suggest me with this.

Option 3 will not be accepted. I can't help you with the other two options.

Each Indian consulates have different regulations... there is nothing you can do to change it

since you already got an Invitation, submit your EE application with your 26th September PCC with a brief yet detailed LOE explaining your status as it is ( extremely important) and with a letter pad document / an email from Indian Consulate explaining they can’t issue a PCC to someone on Business Visa.

That should suffice and thy won’t ask you to submit another PCC as practically it’s impossible for you to get one where you live (Mexico) and since you can’t apply for new PCC from Indian PSK by living in abroad.

Usually these days EE applications are taking longer to process... if you don’t get a COPR before April 2 , 2020 the moment you go home apply for new PCC and Send to CIC

Thanks again for taking out time for such a detailed response.I will work on procuring the Indian Consulate's confirmation for not providing this service as they were reluctant on giving this in writing while I visited them and shall submit it as you suggested. THANKS! :)
