Is anyone trying to get their Indian PCC done from the Indian Consulate in Chicago? When you travel in person are you getting it on the same day?
The below para in their website is confusing - has anyone been in a situation where their details was not found in the system:
"Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) will be issued only after confirmation of applicants Police Verification Records from the system. In the absence of confirmation through the system of Consulate, matter will be referred to concerned authorities in India for clearance with a minimum time frame of 30 days"
