They are charging more than what the link would charge.I have been trying to call them since last week but it goes to to a standard response asking to contact them via mail. Though they say they will respond in 24hrs I am yet to see any replies to my mails too. Looks like they are understaffed.

Did you guys remember seeing this status on embassy passportportal website? and a file no being assigned there?
"You cannot take any action on this ARN as the same is under processing at the respective Indian Embassy/Consulate. In case of any queries, please refer the website of the corresponding Embassy/Consulate (or the Outsourced Service Provider, if passport services are outsourced)."
asking because I had sent 2 family member applications, but only one started showing this today... so wondering if one is in progress to be reviewed or what is this about for status message and a file no..
Hey everyone, i just paid for purolator pick up and drop off and address on that one show for BLS is in 201-8140 120th street but if you go oh their page it show new address to courier your documents. Anyone faced similar problem?

Hello All, I have a boderline stupid question - I sent my surrender application through post but when I try to track it through the BLS website, it shows me the status of the old application of passport renewal (from 2020). Would that be replaced once my surrender application is in the BLS system?

Yes, it happened to me too. Soon, you'll see the status changed from old to new in a few days once they acknowledge the same and send it to CGI, Toronto. I just happen to call them. It took two weeks to update online on BLS Tracker after I sent documents.

Does anybody know how many days does it take from this status to next one to print/issue surrender certificate?
Good sign I think.. for kid application it changed to "surrender certificate granted and ready to be issued" as checked status again just now.. so it took 2-3days so far from previous status.. let's see how it goes tomorrow for other family member.. I am hopeful for processing soon as other few members also got it back in 1week once it reached consulate..

Yes same website where you created application form and printed it.
Login to same account and at bottom you will see your application.. select it and you will see button to track your application...
