Indian passport renewal while on the list of Canadian citizenship/passport process - Help needed please

Experts,
Here are the details & need your valuable inputs on what exactly I am supposed to do or my best options:
-My kid's Indian passport got expired in Sep'2020. (FYI, all of us have current valid Indian passports) So I sent renewal BLS application few weeks ago in Jan'2021 but unfortunately just today, they sent the application back to me saying we did not provide my daughter's signature below the photo but we gave only her thumb impression assuming that minors under 18 do not need signature (of course we have our parents signature in all other signature fields).
-In the mean time just last week, we got our Canadian citizenship Online Test notification & we are planning to get it done before end of Feb'2021.
Now the questions are:
1)Considering that we do not have any travel plan anywhere atleast for next 1 year, is it worth again re-sending my kids Indian passport renewal application?
2)What would be the rough timeline to get our Canadian Passport between this online test & final process assuming we clear the test in one-go?
3)When we get called for Oath or whatever for canadian citizenship/passport, will it be a problem if they find out my kid's Indian passport is no longer valid? Any risk here?
4)Simply, what would you do if in my situation? Please help me with all your inputs as i do not want to face any sort of risk and ready to renew her indian passport even if it has a minimal risk other than travel requirement.

HI Friend, my situation is almost same as yours and would be great if you can share your experiences/any solution and have suggestions for me. I'm an Indian citizen. In my case (family of 3, me , my wife and a daughter) I'm the only one applying for the Canadian Citizenship as I'm eligible to apply. My Wife and Daughter will be eligible by early 2023. Considering the situation that I get the Canadian Citizenship by early 2022, how will the passport renewal of my daughter (who will still be Indian citizen) get affected? For minors passport renewal, the passport authorities asks for Parents passports and in such situations one passport will be Canadian and the other Indian. Will that create a blocker? Also if in a situation I remain a Canadian Citizen while my wife and Kid as Indian citizen, renewing the passport of kid will still create problem moving on, in India? Not sure that people have gone through this dilemma in the past but would certainly appreciate if someone can help here.
