INDIAN PASSPORT RENEWAL from CANADA

Hi

My wife and my passport will be expiring in 10 months and wanted to renew our passport from toronto.
Since our passport were created before marriage we dont have spouse name mentioned.

We have marriage certificate from our home state but not attested from external affairs ministry.
Kindly advise if we would be able to get our passport renewed being in Canada

I am trying to post my question through this website a new post but not able to do so. So I am writing this post. Sorry for not replying your question, but please inform me as soon as possible. My study permit expires on Aug 31, 2014. Now, 2 weeks later, I applied for Post graduate work permit of canada as I completed the degree. I will get the work permit in about few days as status says its approved now. Now, my indian passport expires on february 2015. I wanted to renew the passport. Will the indian passport officials agree for re-issue the passport when I apply as soon as I get work permit in any canadian center of winnipeg or toronto. What is the minimum study permit time eligibility to apply for passport renewal. Can u clarify this please asap. I am sure that PGWP will be given till february 2015 and does it get renewed after my passport renewal.

What prevents you from calling/emailing/attending Indian embassy and ask your question there and get a sufficient answer directly from them?

I am still not sure how i can renew my passport without haaving marriage certificate attestesd CAn somebody help
