Indian Passport Renewal from BLS Toronto

My status changed to "Print has been initiated" on somewhere in the last week of December 2024 and then next day I got the police verification email. After that police verification was done in the last week of December as well, and then status again changed to "Passport application is under review at the Embassy/Consulate". I am not sure why would the status change to under review again when the police verification was done, but was hoping to see the status - "Passport is printed". There have been no status updates for me so far.
When did you submit your application and what's your status at this point?
I submitted on 3rd December and on 1st Jan I received status update of print has been initiated still no update since then. I have a planned trip on 18th. What do you think will I be getting passport till that time !?
I submitted my documents to cgi Toronto through post on 3rd December. It’s passport renewal file. I applied to add name of my spouse. BLS received file on 6th December. BLS sent the documents to the consulate Toronto on 9th December. My file was under review at consulate till 1st of Jan. on 1st Jan my status got changed to “print has been initiated for passport”. I didn’t receive any police clearance notification but still my father visited local SP office and my father received answer from them that they have submitted file on 1st as well, without inquires. But today it’s day 8 still my file not moving. How long does passport take to print ? For Toronto they print passport here in Toronto only right ? Still not getting it for 8 days. I have a flight to catch on 18th Jan. it’s 9 days from today. Will I be getting passport before it ?
hey, can you help me with you timeline. I have a same problem. I have to travel india and my passport status is print has been initiated. What did you do ? Did you get EC ? And how was the process ? Did you go to embassy directly or needed any appointment ? Please guide me.

We are on a same boat. Passport status is print initiated since 1st Jan. I have a flight on 18th Jan. let me know what are you thinking of doing next.
Hi, please can you share your timeline. I am in the same situation. My status showed as "Print Initiated" earlier and now changed to under review. If you already received your passport your timeline would help me what to expect and give an idea of how long to wait. Thanks!

On Dec 13th, status changed to "Processing at High Commission" on BLS & "Passport application along with fee details have been received. The same is under processing at the Embassy/Consulate" on Passport portal. And no more updates until today (9th Jan 2025). Tried to reach out them, they are saying to wait, the process takes 6-8 weeks. I need to give my Biometrics for PR by 20th Jan 2025.

Hi Can you please if you got updates in real time? I got PV initiated on Dec30th. Verification Jan 03rd but I still didn't get any update after that. It is Jan 9th. I have flight on Feb 2nd and I am really worried if I will get it before that.
