Indian Passport Renewal from BLS Toronto

Hi Al,

I applied for Passport renewal on 8th Oct from Toronto.
The status on Passport portal was "Print initiated" until last week but now it has again changed to "Passport application is under review at Indian Embassy/Consulate".

And the inspect status on the portal shows "Stop Printing for CPPFAdmin".

Any idea what does this status mean ?

Is it odd that the printing initiated hasn't moved along since Friday? How much time does it usually take for it to be printed and delivered after this message?

My status was showing "Print has been initiated" now again the status changed to "Passport application is under review at Indian Embassy/Consulate." Under Inspect element its showing like "Escalated to CPPF" . Could you please anyone tell what does it mean?

Good one everyone. My passport is set to expire in December 25, 2025. When would be the earliest time I can apply for passport renewal? BLS website says up-to 1 year, but would they accept it before 1 year if I just apply right now?

For me it changed to passport printed yesterday and today on bls it says dispatched via courier but I don't see any tracking number for it. I had opted for purolator dropoff and paid for it. anybody has any idea

Congrats. Can you share your timeline and do you know how to fetch the Details/Updates from
Inspect element??
