Indian Passport Renewal from BLS Toronto

I generated the puralator label through pickup and drop-off option from https://www.blsindia-canada.com/postalbls/ link.

Though the confirmation email stated as pick and drop off service,the label generated had only pickup details .How do we get the return or Drop Off label? Thanks

When you generated the Pickup details. there only drop off details must be there, you should have been selected that, it will come to the address where they picked up

Hello Everyone here I have a doubt regarding DD
" For Mail In / Postal Applications(WE DO NOT ACCEPT TATKAAL PASSPORT APPLICATION BY POSTAL) - Enclose a certified cheque/Bank draft, in favor of ‘BLS International Service Canada Inc.’ to include:
o HCI/CGI Passport Fee.
o ICWF Consular Surcharge Fee.

- Enclose a separate certified cheque/Bank draft, in favor of ‘BLS International Service Canada Inc.’ to include:
o BLS Processing Fee.
o Add: Return Courier charges "

So I have to make to separate DD or only one of $103.40

Issue of Ordinary Fresh passport or re-issue of passport containing 36 pages - validity 10 years (also applicable to minors in the age group of 15 to 18 years)

Just make a one DD of the full amount. I did the same based on various members sharing the same experience in this forum!

Got my new passport exactly 1 month to the day I sent my postal application for renewal. Some takeaways (for future applicants):
1.Read all the previous posts on this thread (easier said than done). Most questions are already answered.
2.Just one DD is required. The amount keeps changing so refer to the BLS site for latest information.
3.Full name of BLS on the DD may not always fit. "INT'L" works just fine instead of "International".
4.Pick-up and drop-off is super convenient. But instructions are not very clear. So call the BLS call centre and ask them to create the pickup and drop-off labels. Note 1: you will receive only the pickup label. Note 2: I used my own envelope for the pickup.
5.No original documents are required with the application package except for the passport (of course). Self-attested copies of all documents is enough.
6.One of the addresses I had requested to be printed on the passport was Canadian and it still went for police verification. So fill in the personal particulars form properly.

I can see they have made some changes to the passport. It appears to be similar to the American or Canadian format now, for e.g. the first page with the main information is no longer a part of the jacket. It is now a separate laminated page. The cross-hair on every page is also removed. Looks better I would say.

I had applied for my passport 4 weeks back in person and had a canadian address to be printed. It still went for police verification. did the same happen for you? did the police contact you?

No, I gave Canadian address to be printed.

I did a walk in application and they said they didnt need it. But they said they didnt need the personal particulars form. we need to provide an indian address in the online application right along with the canadian address?

I needed to renew my passport. Can we renew it by walk-in? Or should it be online only?
