Thank you so much for the response. I have send my parents 2 times but the local police said they have not received my file yet for verification. That's the most worrying part for me as really dont know If I can contact anyone at Indian passport office for information.

Yes it squite an slow process at present due to COVID-19 but I feel atleast if they complete PV I will just have to wait for final passport print from Toronto office.

How long after did your BLS status change to dispatched to BLS centre?
Did you got any update? I am also on same status.
Now my update has been changed on Passport seva website to 'Your passport has been printed and will receive an sms/email upon dispatch'

Passport application has been granted to applicant on 11/08/2020. so I guess it will take 3-4 more days. Anyways thanks for the update.
Hello anyone applied for minor recently for reissue of passport at bls brampton? What are the timelines. I submitted today at bls. Also I think for minor passport reissue there is no police verification right?
Here’s my timeline for Passport renewal application:
05/06/2020 - Application was picked up by Purolator.
08/06/2020 - Application was received at BLS Brampton Receptionist.
Status on BLS- Records not found till 26th June 2020.
26/06/2020- after continuous follow-ups, the application was on their system with status ‘application received’
27/06/2020- BLS status updated to ‘in transit to consulate general’
29/06/2020- BLS status changed to ‘Processing at consulate general’
01/07/2020- email received for police verification in India (police verification update to CGI Canada took 15 days in total)
16/07/2020- police verification completed (on Indian gov. Passport portal, but at BLS website showed only 'In Process at the CGI Office')
24/07/2020- passport printed and the applicant will receive an email when dispatched.
26/07/2020- passport dispatched via Purolator with Tracking details ob BLS website.
29/07/2020- Received Passport

I hope you are doing great in this COVID situation.
Your replies helped a lot of people. Thanks for keep posting your experience on the forum.
My timeline is quite similar but it seems like mine is getting delayed with some unknown factor.
I sent my application to BLS on June 3rd, 2020.
Status Updated ob BLS on Jun 23rd 2020.
Police Verification email received on Jul 15th 2020.
and from June 23rd to till date its showing "Processing at Consulate General".
I tried calling their number and even emergency number but those are not going through.
Second I tried to contact them via email on consec.toronto@mea.gov.in. Still no response.
Can you please tell me some more channels I can go with or can approach them. Because BLS won't have any info on that until they get the passport back from CGI.

You need to enter CAT file number, you received in email for police verification in small letters.

So I use this link https://portal2.passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/statusTracker/trackStatusInpNew and then enter the CAT File number in File Number but says "The status of the entered File Number is not available in the system "
Do you have any idea what it means?
