Based on the threads and cases read above, it has changed between 1 day to 3 days on average.. some has gone beyond 10 days too but that may be some special case.. most likely it should get updated today..

For my daughter, I need to renew her passport. It is expiring in the first week of October 2022. Can somebody post the instructions or the link of another post with the required details?

May be this week Thursday it should be printed. My old passport shows under review on Indian website that means it’s canceled so lets see when its actually printed, hopefully by Friday

Definitely.. btw, nothing changed yet. It gives so much frustration to see no action and especially when trips are aligned. Post police verifications, the process should be same for all and with similar timelines but who dares to Question Consulate offices.. they are the Boss..
The instructions are available on the BLS website if not already applied. P.S. If you or family have applied for citizenship, then you may need to attach the email printout sent by cic too (this info is not available on any of the BLS or MEA website).
Well! Rightly said.. we all are keeping fingers crossed in assuming dates, cross verifying cases, spending time reading threads, Ifs/maybe's and at the end its on those appointed officials who work according to their timelines. Nothing specific or defined SOP's. Website says 8 weeks so they should give in 8 weeks and not 4 or 5 weeks. That means process is not streamlined. Human mentality feel happy when we receive early than expected but it gives hopes to all others applying, expecting it arrives early and it bounces back. This is not a systematic system rather its at the officers descrition. Let's keep hoping that the officer wakes up and do some justice to us. Lolz..

granted with no police verification may be because my previous passport was issued in India and that time police verification completed so they should have that in system. As long as i know PV not needed for reissue if it’s within one year of expiry and previous clearance available in the database

Yes Sure. They might be doing batch printing of passports on certain days of the week so we should wait till mid next week.
