Indian Passport Expired

Hi All,

I am Jay from British Columbia.

I am a student and recently Grudated from school i.e DECEMBER 2020

I want to apply for the work pemit but My Indian Passport will be expire on AUG 2022.


1. Will i get work permit till my indian Passport Expires?

2. If yes then can i able to get the remaining work permit (If i get only work permit till my passport expires) ?

3. Can i renew my indian passport before 1 and half year (Passport Expires on AUG 2022) ?

4. My Student TRV (Temporary Resident Visa) valid till JULY 2021 so can i travel overseas and come back to canada on that TRV (Temporary Resident Visa) - NOTE: i am already graduated and if i will get work permit later then can i enter to canada, if my status changes from student to work permit?

Please give me your valuable suggestions.

Hi did you figure out this issue or not. Because my friend is in same condition too ? can you tell me what u did ?
