Indian passport expired before Citizenship application

Hi Guys

I have completed my 1095 days in Canada and now eligible to apply for PR. But my kids Indian passports are expired so I need your advice on the following point

"Can we apply Canadian citizenship with expired Indian passports or Do we have to renew the Indian passports first?"

U can apply canadian passport without renewed indian passport
