Hello friends,
I am a newbie in this field so plz don’t make jokes if u find I am asking stupid kind of questions. Any help from you would be highly appreciated.
Ok starting,
I am a boiler operator by profession and want to do a job in Canada.
1) I am having highest level competency (class 1/ first class) certificate/license issued by Indian Govt. (as far as boiler operation is concerned) but will it be eligible to work in Canada also ?
2) I have done ITI Fitter (2 years) + 2.5 years apprenticeship and having , so will my apprenticeship be counted as experience or will be considered as study years to getting boiler operation license ?
3) I have read somewhere that I wld need to show my IT returns, but my question is ,,, I don’t come under the taxpayer criteria as my salary is only 2 lac p.a. so is it ok that I am not paying IT?
4) I had a police case of “hit and run” but it was totally fake and court has left me without any charges or conviction. But I have surrendered and then arrested when I came to know that I am accused for this charge. Will it affect getting visa ?
5) I know there are too many highly educated ppl who are trying to get work visa, so is it possible for a low level worker like me to get a visa. I mean do the visa officers prefer highly qualified ppl against low level workers like me ?
6) Which course I should join IELTS of TOEFL ?
7) I don’t have 11k dollars in my bank balance but having a job offer will fulfill this requirement ?
8) I am not looking to get citizenship of Canada, I am only willing to work there for 3,4 years. Will it make any difference to get a visa ?
Look at this link, in it they have mentioned the NOC no. but when i have searched for the exact job title there wasn’t written anything like “boiler operator”

skilledworkers.com/boiler-operator-jobs-60446.html

p.s. getting a job offer is not an issue for me. My concerns are written above. And as far as 67 points are concerned I think will make it.

Additional info:
Age: 31 years
Education: SSC, HSC, ITI, 1st class boiler operator with 10 years experience (including 2.5 years apprenticeship)
Marital status: unmarried.
Not visited out of india ever.
Sorry for this LONG query, but even a small help from you will be a BIG relief for me.

1) I am having highest level competency (class 1/ first class) certificate/license issued by Indian Govt. (as far as boiler operation is concerned) but will it be eligible to work in Canada also ?
NO, you need to take trade certification from here by passing some exam or may be a short duration course.

2) I have done ITI Fitter (2 years) + 2.5 years apprenticeship and having , so will my apprenticeship be counted as experience or will be considered as study years to getting boiler operation license ?
It may count as work experience if you were paid for that, and have a salary slip or IT return. Can not count as study though.

3) I have read somewhere that I wld need to show my IT returns, but my question is ,,, I don't come under the taxpayer criteria as my salary is only 2 lac p.a. so is it ok that I am not paying IT?
I am not sure, I.T is for proof that you were getting paid, but if you have salary slip or form 16, I think it will work

4) I had a police case of “hit and run” but it was totally fake and court has left me without any charges or conviction. But I have surrendered and then arrested when I came to know that I am accused for this charge. Will it affect getting visa ?
Sorry No idea about that

5) I know there are too many highly educated ppl who are trying to get work visa, so is it possible for a low level worker like me to get a visa. I mean do the visa officers prefer highly qualified ppl against low level workers like me ?
doesn't matter, as far as you have job offer and LMO from employer

6) Which course I should join IELTS of TOEFL ?
IELTS is easy compared to TOEFL, and widely accepted

7) I don't have 11k dollars in my bank balance but having a job offer will fulfill this requirement ?
Yes

I am not looking to get citizenship of Canada, I am only willing to work there for 3,4 years. Will it make any difference to get a visa ?
NO

Don't forget go through the CIC website (Please google it. I am unable to post links) and be very cautious if you are planning to apply via a representative.

first of all thank you very very much brothers for replying, and sorry for my bad english.

u mean in canada i will have to take trade certificate ?

I am not sure, I.T is for proof that you were getting paid, but if you have salary slip or form 16, I think it will work
is it ok if i show them my salary slips and bank statements and tell them that i am exempt from tax paying category ?

thats why i am asking expert and experience guys like you. i am living in a small city and here all agents are fraud. actually they are travel agents who book railways tickets and hotel reservations but give ads in newspaper that they can send anyone to canada in 10 lacs and vise versa.

thanking you guys again, and forget about my bad english ;D

Yes in Canada.

You can show bank statement if you were being paid by check or direct deposit. Cash transaction will not count. But salary slips, letter from employer and if you have form 16, it should be OK.
One more thing, you are not exempt from income tax, your income is below threshold, but it does not mean that you can not file return. You can always file return with your income (generally they call it zero income tax return in India)

hmmmm but what if i fail in canadian trade certificate exam ? i mean ill have to return to india in this scenario? without it how can CIC give me visa to work in canada where my current certy/license is not valid in canada ?

and indian govt says

timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/india-business/No-need-to-file-income-tax-returns-if-your-salary-is-less-than-Rs-5-lakh/articleshow/15059780.cms

then showing them salary slips and bank statements wld be enough i guess (asking this coz i dont want to take any chance)

and one more thing, will they ask my details of provident fund ? as getting these details is a very messy kind of thing due to indian Bureaucracy system.

sry one more thing i wld like to ask, somewhere i hv read that i ll have to submit 2 pics of my current and previous workplace. but i dont think my previous employer wld allow me to go in the company and take pics.

First decide what you are looking for work permit or permanent residency?
In case of work permit, you do not need any previous documents like salary slips, or letters from employer etc etc. You just need job offer letter and LMO.

In case of your link, it says Salaried employees earning up to Rs 5 lakh a year need not file income tax returns from this year. Also it did not say you can not file a return.

I am not sure that which exam and what is the rule to get trade certificate, for more details you need to look in to that.

I have never heard/read that you need pictures of your previous work place, it could be your some mistake, you need letters from them and not pictures.

Also you said job offer is easy for you, never ever try to give them fake job offer, as they are getting really strict on that, on now you also need LMO with job offer.

i only want to work in canada, not looking for it's citizenship. for doing an offered job i am looking for a work permit.
but as you said there will be no need if of salary slips, exp letters and all that if i have a job offer then its really good for me. in this case wld i have to clear 67 points system or the visa officer of india take my interview ? of i wld have get offer letter and LMO and fly to canada?
btw like this how cic will determine that the person is coming is not a criminal or have produce wrong credentials etc.
what i am trying to ask is, there must be a document check process in india by cic.

anyways this IT thing is still confusing me, as i have already said i am dumb kind of guy. never paid a single penny IT in my whole life lol. and yes my father has expired in 1991 and my mother is illiterate thats why i dont know about this things.

giving pics of previous employment,,, this thing i have read right here in this forum. but its possible that they were talking in a different context. (not sure)

have a look at link below (its just an example)

skilledworkers.com/boiler-operator-jobs-60446.html

before taking a small step towards canada i know i will have to verify the employer and job offer's genuinity.

and again really sorry if my questions are bothering or teasing you due to my bad english ;D
