Hello friends,

I recently made an Express Entry profile, with a CRS of 430. I've been reading the posts on this forum for a few weeks, and this is really an awesome source of information. Thanks to all the contributors!

I'm originally from India, and have been working as a post-doc in UK for the last two years. Last month, I got married in India, and while registering the marriage, I gave my permanent address in India (my parents' address). Apparently, there were two rows in the marriage certificate, one called "Usual place of residence", and the other "Full/Foreign Address", and the registrar put my Indian address in both the rows. I didn't pay much attention at the time, but now that I've been reading that the reasons for rejection can be pretty trivial, this has started to bug me. Should the "Usual place of residence" have my UK address, or the "Full/Foreign Address", or the both?

I searched the forum to see if anybody had the same issue, but didn't find anything related. From enquiring at the registrar's office, it seems that it is not possible to get a new certificate, but they can issue some sort of corrigendum correcting the mistake (and that too, after paying up a fair bit). But at the moment, I'm not even sure under what heading should my UK address be specified :(

Please advise, friends....

Thanks for the reply, Green Stone!
I'm also leaning towards the option that you suggest. Moreover, I'm thinking of getting a consultant to go through all my documents after I get an ITA. Do you know a good consultant/lawyer for this purpose?
Thanks again.
