HI,

Could you please advice. Is I am eligible to attempt for G2-test?

I am having Indian international Valid driving license. Its issued on July 2016. I finished my G1-test here. I hered from forums , Do we required a authorization from RTO.

Please Advice the sample letter and I am eligible to go for G2-test.

Thanks,

You will need your regular (not international) driving licence + extract , They dont even want to see your IDP

Yes, you need an extract from RTO. If getting it from India is an hassle, you can obtain an sworn affidavit from Indian consulate here in Canada as well. That is also accepted my MTO.

You are correct that it is an hassle to get one but if one was in a position to get one. What information would the extract contain ? My RTO is willing to write the letter on letterhead with stamps but he does not know what to write in the letter.

Thank you.

Everything they required is there but it's digitally signed..but they want signature done by hand

The RTO needs to just write something like this:
"To whomsoever it may concern.

This is to confirm that Mr So and So has a valid Indian driving license since so and so date. The license allows the licensee to drive so and so class of vehicles.
This is also to confirm that there are no traffic violations reported against license no XXXXXX issued to Mr So and So.
"

I think something like this would suffice.

If you eventually do not succeed with this letter, then just get it verified and attested by the Indian consulate in Toronto. The fee is 18$.

I believe this would suffice. I also got the similar letter from Bangalore RTO office. In my case, it also mentioned that I have been driving 4 wheeler vehicle for past X years. This will get the waiting period waived off and you can directly give G level road test upon clearing your written test (Yes, you still have to give written test)
