Indian citizen to apply for Canadian Student visa from US

Hi,
I am living in US on H4 and received acceptance from a University in Canada to do my Masters. I am a citizen of India. I would like to know whether I have to travel back to India to apply for the visa or apply from here? What are the best chances? What documents should I submit?
